Stop Smoking Online

John W.A. Marshall, a friend of mine, wrote an article in his blog (Walking in Gay Shoes) dated January 12, 2005 about reasons to quit smoking. I thought I would follow up on his article by providing some free online resources to help people quit smoking:

Action on Smoking and Health--This is a UK site dedicated to reducing and eventually eliminating the negative health effects of smoking.

American Lung Association--The American equivalent of the ASH site. This link takes you directly to their Freedom from Smoking program.

WhyQuit.com--advocates cold turkey quitting and provides an online support group. Aimed at younger folks.

If you are a smoker and have decided it's time to quit, I wish you the best of luck.

Linda

I just wanted to say what a great blog you have! I hope you don’t mind, but I’ve just sent your blog address to my list to check out.
If you get a chance, come and check out my site…
I have a quit smoking site. As the name suggests it is a quit smoking site.
